Mina and Dimi's is one of those places that you hear about when you live in SA - always positive things but it's so far from my usual area in the NE. We came to visit and met up with the newest Air Force grad in the family at Lackland, and M&D's made the perfect place to grab dinner together. The location is packed with tables and they were busy even on a weeknight, the decor is nice with murals on the walls. The menu is large with lots of options. We shared the Taste it All appetizer sample for 2 with a good variety - dolmas, spanakopita, olives and feta, tzatziki and more. I also ordered a Greek salad with gyro meat and pretty much only picked at it because the apps were so filling. The guys enjoyed their gyros and Hercules platter - def upgrade to the feta fries, they were so good! Service was great throughout our visit. We had our toddler with us, and they were understanding about her and had a high chair ready. This place has been around for ages and it's easy to see why - they really have everything dialed in here, great spot if you're in the area but also worth going out of your way to try!

In town for our son's USAF BMT graduation, and not in the mood for the usual burgers, pizza, or tacos. Found this place, and it was absolutely wonderful! We had moussaka, pastitsio, and a gyro, and everything came out quickly, hot, and incredibly delicious. My husband said it was the best gyro he's ever had. Highly recommend!

Don't be fooled by the exterior in the run down stop mall. Step inside this little gem and you're greeted with lots of color and happy smiles. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful. They seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food is flavorful and filling without being heavy. We started with the flaming saganaki- delicious. Who doesn't like melt cheese. But this was some of the best, especially with the lemon juice. It didn't make sense in my head, but we trusted the server and it worked so well. I had Pastosio and my partner had The gyro plate with feta fries. Every single one was a hit. Perfectly flavored and tender. Would eat any of it again happily. Partner said his tzaziki was done of the best he's ever had The desserts are sweet but not cloying. So delicious!! There's enough selection to please a lot of tastes- meat lovers, pasta enthusiasts, vegetarians, everyone! We will be back to this charming delicious place.

Another great meal at Mina & Dimi's! I had the gyro for the first time. It was excellent! I wish the place was bigger. It feels a bit claustrophobic and difficult to move through without disturbing other diners. I think they keep adding chairs and tables to accommodate their big lunch crowds. Rumor is that they may be moving next door; I hope so. The service is always great!

Let me tell you! The food is delicious here. I recommend the feta fries! Our server was polite, and even though she was hustlin' all over, she stayed attentive and friendly! The restaurant is small, and even though seating is close; it somehow didn't feel crowded! Also, there's tons of desserts to choose from! Be careful, the salad olives are the real deal and have the pit intact.

This Greek House has friendly staff and good food. The dining area is a bit crowded. You order at the counter and then have a seat. The food is prepared relatively quickly and brought to your table. The owner was on site and was easy to speak with. There are belly dancers on Friday and Saturday, unfortunately I was there on a Tuesday. This is a good casual dining facility.

Im currently in SA for an Air Force school and my class decided to stop here on a whim, just looking for regular Greek food. This spot was not regular. It was delicious! It's small, but intimate and authentic. The staff were all so nice. Genuine smiles all around. I didn't catch the name of the lady who took my order but she was sweet as could be. I don't normally tip at the counter but I made sure to add 20% because she was just that nice. Our group was large, about 10 of us, but we all received our food pretty quick. It was honestly impressive considering how many of us there were, and we all ordered different things. The food is to DIE for. I ordered the lamb and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly, tasted great, and was tender. The feta fries are out of this world good. You have to get them. There wasn't one person in our group who wasn't satisfied with their meal. Bottom line, I'll be going back before I leave this schoolhouse. I wish there was a Mina and Dimi's everywhere.

This is the beast Geek food I've ever had! Ingredients were fresh and flavorful! The service was outstanding! You gotta try the Feta Fries - best I've ever had! I was in town for Thanksgiving week and had to go back twice because it was soooo good! It's a must try if you're in SAT!

Short story - 5 worthy! We will be back. Stumbled on this gem. The exterior is not an indicator of the delight that awaited inside. From our delightful waitress to the funky decor, Mina & Dimi's was delicious. Give it a go any time you're in the area.

Food We got the Hercules platter and WOW it didn't disappoint! 5/5 It came with 2 plates full of salad, feta, tzaziki sauce, pita bread, honey mustard, choice of fries or oven roasted potato (looks like a pickle lol). Totally need to add the feta on top! Furthermore a hot skillet platter full of chicken skewers, gyro, beef ontop of a bed of tomatos and onions (so flavorful). Enjoyed it bring a friend or 2 to share. Costed $44. Totally worth every penny. We also tried some deserts like the cheescake and raspberry cake. The raspberry cheesecake was very delicious! It was fruity(not too sweet), and paired well with the jam on the plate! 8.5/10 Service Was GREAT! Looked after us to clean up plates and refilled our waters as necessary! Ambiance Chill and relaxing vibes for family, date, friends. The area is not that great (so be aware) but this is a great gem!
